Job description

Responsibilities

  • Follow the Articulate process to deliver websites for our clients and make suggestions on improving it.
  • Participate in client discussions and develop a rationale to back up your development decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with our designers and developers to create optimised, logical and user friendly code.
  • Write clear, organised comments and documentation for code and processes to support seamless collaboration within the team, smooth onboarding, and efficient handoffs.
  • Apply SEO best practices from the start of each project, helping websites achieve strong search visibility.
  • Liaise with other departments and studio members in order to deliver the best possible work.
  • Understand what our clients do and what their goals are in order to translate those into both exceptional, functional and accessible websites.
  • Run QA checklists (pre-launch and post-launch), set up redirects and manage the website go live process.
  • Set up A/B tests, smart modules and build HubDB based functionalities.
  • Develop responsive HubSpot themes following the latest best practices, set up a staging environment and build website pages.
  • Support in R&D projects, scoping projects and bring innovative solutions that are backed by solid research, which solve a client’s given challenge.
  • Perform site audits and build CRO recommendations that you are able to present to a given client using a strong rationale and backing up your recommendations by data.
  • Support the successful delivery of development projects.
  • Share ideas and feedback on colleagues’ design and code work.

Skills

  • Some knowledge of Figma necessary for development
  • Solid mastery of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and VS Code (HubSpot, HubSpot CMS and HubL are a plus)
  • Good understanding of performance optimisation techniques (especially core web vitals) to ensure high-performing, efficient websites.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles to create websites that look and perform well across all devices.
  • Fundamental understanding of design and how design and development correlate.
  • Knowledge of GitHub (for version control and templating)

  • Passionate about website design and UX/UI practices and constantly look for learning opportunities.
  • Adaptable to continuously evolving web/dev technologies and eager to stay current with the latest tools and frameworks.
  • User-centred approach that prioritises end-user experience, ensuring our websites are intuitive, engaging, and effective for every visitor.
  • Continuous improvement mindset that seeks to refine both personal work and team processes, always striving for better results and efficiencies.
  • Self-disciplined, proactive and unafraid of sharing new ideas within the company in a remote working setting.
  • Able and comfortable working on more than project at a time, with a proven ability to deliver on commitments (both in terms of deadlines and quality of work).
  • Great communication skills, both internally and in a client-facing environment enabling transparent progress updates and the confident flagging of issues early enough so the the project is not negatively impacted
